HaLLoWeEn!!

Halloween is my favorite holiday, I am still working on Tim, he doesn't seem to agree quite yet. I love seeing everyone's costumes, the fun, food, and decorations. It is a great time of year. Fall, so it usually isn't too cold, the leaves are changing and just the right chill in the air to give you that spooky feeling. Tim and I host a Halloween party at our cabin every year. It is so fun to see what people come up with to dress up as. This is the group this year. There were some witches, vampires, mummy, pool balls, bunny, strong man, priest, chef, and mechanic. It was great.

Sarah is pregnant so she fit very well in her 8 ball costume.

Tim and I were both monsters. He was a mummy which took us for ever to wrap and he was still "saggy" I was a gothic style vampire. The dark window hides most of the costume. I used an old velvet homecoming dress of mine for the occasion. I added sleves and made a cape.

Every year the Best family girls go to Witch's Night Out at Gardener Village and mill around looking at all the other witches and spooks around. It has become a fun tradition. Madison used my good witch costume, Grandma a good white witch, and me a bad witch. The face paint gave me a rash on my face! Ha!

My work had an awesome Halloween party and costume contest. Almost everybody got dressed up, it was great. There were some very creative costumes. These are the 'Weather Girls' the front desk receptionists. Snow, Sun, Rain Storm, and Wind. So creative.

But best of all, was our visit from the whole contingency of Presidential Candidates! None other than John McCain, Hillary Clinton, and Barak Obama.

There was a prize for the scariest costume decided upon by the doctors and out of all the awesome costumes to choose from, guess who won SCARIEST......

Barak Obama! With runners up, McCain and Hillary! So fitting for the season.
