St. George

Tim and I took a long time needed vacation to St. George last weekend. My grandparents live down there so we were able to stay with them. It is always great to visit with them. Grandma even made her awesome Biscuits and Gravy for breakfast-a big favorite of ours.
We kept busy the whole time, hardly a minute to just sit. We went fishing Saturday evening at Quail Creek Reservoir just outside of Hurricane, it was my first time and Tim was such a good teacher that I even caught a fish! Tim caught one too but I wasn't around to take a picture. :(

That fish kept wiggling around and it scared me so to protect myself from getting touched by the fish I had to stare at it long and hard to detect any movement...my attempts were not successful. Tim got a good laugh at least
It was a cool experience regardless. Thanks Tim!

Tim LOVES to golf so as his wife I am 'obligated' to go too :). We went to some really pretty courses. Tim is really good, and I think I would rank at "fair." It was great weather and we had a lot of fun being out in the sun and fresh air. The more I go, the more I like it, so Tim may not be able to go golfing without me anymore. Sorry honey.

Getting ready to tee off. Tim is preparing to hit the ball over a lake. One of the golf courses had a ravine to hit the ball over...mine didn't make it. I lost a lot of balls at that course. Tim of course had no trouble.

This is my swing. I know there are a LOT of things that can be improved upon. Tim bought me golf shoes so I got a lot better. Ha.

Woo Wee, look at that stance. Looks just like a pro. And cute too!
I didn't get pictures but we went over to the Senior Olympics to watch some events and it was really cool. Who knew old people could be so athletic? They were really good. I had no idea that it was such a big event, people from all over the world came to St. George to compete!
All in all it was such a good trip. It feels so nice to just get away from everything and relax.
