Snowboard or Bust!

Now that I told you all how to get discount lift tickets you should all try snowboarding. It is so much fun! My first time snowboarding was with Alyson Dame and I think I was 11 years old. From that day on I was hooked. I was able to go to Brighton about 2 weeks ago with Alyson 'Murdock' (now) and it rocked. It was a little windy and we had to board through blizzards of ice crystals-ouch-every once in awhile but it was Oh so worth it!

Look How Cool

This is me doing a wicked cool rail jump.....

Just kidding, it looks like it could be me though doesn't it? I used to be brave enough to try cool moves and tricks, but I got married and became a chicken. Nowadays I have to pay for my own medical expenses if I land on my face. That would not be pretty-either one!

He said Yes!

Last Wednesday Tim FINALLY consented to go snowboarding with me! For an event like this I took work off, since this may never happen again. Tim does not like winter or the snow so I felt like I pretty much had to drag him up there. He wanted to ski instead of snowboard, which was okay since I was just glad to get him to come, besides he is a better skiier than snowboarder so we were able to 'tear up the mountain' Even though it was cold, Tim ended up having a great time and even tossed around the idea of buying some skis. Horray! But don't worry, our kids will still be snowboarders.

Beautiful View

This is the view from the top of SnakeCreek Express lift at Brighton. I think this shows Heber City. Isn't it pretty up above all the pollution.

Did you know...

Yesterday I was looking for homes on KSL.com and I started scrolling down the main page of the classifieds that tells of all the categories you can buy from and I found the coolest things! I came across the sports and entertainment section and come to find out they sell all kinds of awesome things. I came across tons of Jazz tickets for tonights game, the game next week, next month, etc. They were really cheap too, I thought to myself what a good gift for someones hubby, a special surprise Jazz ticket in exchange for a foot rub or even a cleaning of the bathroom! They also had day passes to Brighton Ski Resort for $20! These are usually $54! That really got me excited, its just hard to find people to go...does anyone want to go snowboarding with me on a Friday or Saturday? :) Just thought I would pass this GREAT discovery of mine on.

Probably to be a secret agent.
What made you laugh harder than you have ever laughed before?
I wish I could remember. Dang it! I have had so many funny experiences.
Favorite memories of hanging out with your best friends?
Trips were easily the best memories. San Diego, Bear Lake, Goblin Valley, and even Topaz Mountain (Aly remember Horny Joe, the horny toad?)
What's the most trouble you have ever got in with your parents?
When I sat outside with an old boyfriend whom my parents were'nt very fond of until like 4:00 AM
And last but not least...What is your 5 year plan now?
Have a kid or 2, establish a home salon so that I can work out of my house and still be a mom. Have a home that is NOT an apartment! Support Tim as he finishes his Masters degree and finds a career. Yea! Hopefully we will have a strong and happy family and be able to go on lots of trips.

Happy Trees

So my friend Leslie is an awesome artist, I love her paintings. They are so bright and colorful and happy. I asked her if I could put a link to her website on my blog so all of my pals could check out her stuff. The website is http://www.vibrantviews.com/
