cant upload!

So the last several times I have tried to post something, blogger wont let me upload any pictures. Has anybody else come accross this annoying feature? It been doing that for a few weeks.

First temple outing

Tim, Parker and I had an outing to Temple Square on Sunday. The weather felt nice with an overcast sky and a warm breeze making it great to be outside walking around. Rain started coming down about an hour into our outing. Parker had his first trip to the temple as well as being in his first official rain storm. He thought it was great long enough to take a picture and then he had had enough!

Brooklyn meet Parker, Parker meet Brooklyn...Saturday night we went to our friends house for Carne Asada and a game of scum-very fun night by the way...one year old Brooklyn and 6 week old Parker are pretty much going to get married some day, I mean look at them eyeing each other!

Mariah had all the girls and our husbands/boyfriends and kids over for a pool party and BBQ, so of course we had to take our usual group picture. My eyes look funny but all the other girls look good so I had to post this one. Maybe this will be the first annual of many?!? Either way, it was fun and always great to see the gals.

Look at my little baby all grown up and going swimming! Parker is a little guy and being a little guy he only fits in Carter's brand newborn clothes (I guess they run small) so that seriously limits his wardrobe. He had a very cute tiny swimsuit but of course it was humongous so since he had to dress the part for the pool party I took out my sewing machine and took in 1 1/2 inches from the sides! I might by biased but I think Parker is one cute boy.

Happy Birthday

I am not sure if I have ever taken a birthday picture with the cake and candles-you know the traditional shot, so August 13 I decided it was time. Tim celebrated his 28th birthday with one candle and some yummy razzleberry pie. We went to Litza's Pizza for dinner with some of our friends, one of Tim's favorite restaurants. This was our first time taking Parker to a restaurant and luckily he didn't bring ALL the attention to our table. He did get hungry just as our food came so unless one of us had 3 hands we couldn't eat. Thank you to Chelsea for taking over the feeding position so both Tim and I could eat to our hearts content!

Wow! Raise your hand if you are tired

Being a mom is so great, but geez nobody told me i'd be so tired! kidding. So our little Parker loves to sleep, but only when he is being held. The second we lay him down he wakes right up, it makes for some good snuggles, but snuggling at night is not my choice time! So I have gone through the possible reasons and I have decided that maybe its because his bed drowns his little 6 lb body...

All lack of sleep aside, he sure is a cute fella.

What a beautiful wife and baby boy I have! They are such wonderful blessings and I am thankful to now have both of them. Kara was so good through the whole pregnancy and will be a FANTASTIC mom for sure :)

First bath and what a good one it was! He just was fun to watch while the nurse bathed him. He seemed to really enjoy it alot

Big Blessings Come in Small Packages :) This was Parker 1/2 an hour after he was born. What a cute little guy he is!!!

Here is Parker less than 5 minutes old! Wow what a journey that was.....The greatest single event Tim and I have ever experienced along with our wedding day!

This is one of Tim's favorite pictures :) He could barely take this picture because he was so happy!! Parker is less than 1 minute old in this picture. They had to cut his cord to bring him up to me because it was so short. What a moment that was.......one we will never forget for sure!!!!

Parker Timothy Olsen joined our family Wednesday July 08 at 12:56 P.M. He was born at Alta View Hospital weighing 5 pounds 14 ounces, 18 inches long. He is a small little guy. It is amazing how much you can love someone in just a second, and every time you look at them again, you fall more in love with them. Tim and I are so happy to have Parker in our lives. I don't know how to do slideshows or anything fancy so i will just post pictures as they come (possibly, if you know my blogging history ;)
